HOW TO STAY YOUNG AND NOT TO LOSE YOUR STRENGHT

As man ages, he loses about 5 percent of his strength every 10 years. That means when you’re 80, your body has about half the muscle mass as you had at age 25, and you have more fat.

You can escape this fate by starting weight training now. You’ll maintain the strength, energy, and movement of young man and keep that fat in check. The more muscle mass you have, the more calories your body burns, even sitting still. Your favorite meals won’t make you chubby that quickly.

What you can do?
Go to the gym and start lifting weights. Concentrate on the large muscle groups, including the thighs, buttocks, chest, and upper back. These muscles have the best potential for growth and are the best to show off, too.

Ideally, the exercise you do should target multiple mucles. For example, bicep curls can be done in combination with lunges.
